Do you offer a fitting service on your garden sheds?

Yes, we offer a fitting service for our metal garden sheds. Our wooden sheds are supplied and fitted as standard.

We can only accept payment in-store, via bank transfer or through our website. We do not accept cash on delivery or payment over the phone.

You can checkout using Klarna, Klarna buy now pay later is available on all products when purchasing through our website. It is not available in store at present. You can apply for Klarna by clicking the Klarna link , once approved by Klarna you can then pay at checkout. Please see the full Klarna terms and conditions. 

You will need a solid level base for all our metal / steel garden sheds. Always install a DPM Sheet(Damp Proof Membrane) under your base to prevent rising damp. A DPM lining is important under your base to prevent condensation build up. See out base guide for our base tips.

Our Wooden sheds require a reasonably level base. Our fitters will supply blocs to level the area up prior to assembly.

With all our metal garden sheds we include a galvanised steel floor support frame as standard. When you opt for our assembly service, an 18mm OSB board is included in the price and installed as your internal flooring leaving you ready to use your shed immediately. Please note you will still need a solid level base to the full surface area underneath your metal shed. The OSB is not supplied with flat pack delivery option.

No, Metal sheds are not recommended for coastal areas due to salt air reacting with the galvanised / power coated finish and can cause corrosion on the panels and frame.

We don’t offer electrical or plumbing services on our products. We would not recommend drilling holes or altering your shed panels as this can cause premature ageing / corrosion.

Shed delivery and shed fitting FAQ

How long does it take to get my new shed?

Typically 1 -2 working weeks, during peak times this lead time can increase.

Our team will let you know the delivery day within 72 hours of purchase. The fitters will call typically 1 hour before arriving to let you know they are on the way. Unfortunately, we cannot facilitate specific requests for fitting times. For flat packed garden sheds your delivery day will be notified to you within 72 hours of purchase. We have set days for each area. You can not request days or times.

Yes, our courier will require a signature.

Please contact us on 028 30 44 1560 as soon as possible. We may require some photos to assist with getting everything resolved as fast as possible. You must inspect the product and advise of any missing parts or damage within seven days of delivery. Sometimes two parts may be seated together inside the box and will need to be separated. Please be very careful with screws and small components in order not to lose them. The correct amount is in your box, and if more are requested, these are charged for plus delivery.

While you can buy our sheds for self-assembly, you cannot assemble them alone. Our metal sheds require at least two persons to fit so you’ll have someone to talk to during the tea break!

In the unlikely event we must cancel the fit we will re-arrange at the earliest opportunity.

Unfortunately, not, our Delivery service is a kerbside delivery. (It may be that a delivery operative may assist in placing the product in the the perimeter of a property, e.g. garden, patio or driveway. This is entirely up to their discretion, considering all hazards involved.) Our flat pack options have a kerbside delivery only. Your purchased items may be shipped strapped on a pallet or in boxes. Please note that all packaging, form part of the product that we have sold to you. We do not collect or remove this packaging. Our standard delivery days are Monday to Friday.

If for any reason you miss your delivery or the delivery personnel cannot leave the delivery at your requested delivery address, the goods would have to be returned to our store and rebooked for a new delivery day, a charge will be incurred for delivery to be made a second time. In these circumstances if an order is subsequently cancelled a charge for the aborted delivery will be incurred. Please note that we strongly recommend that you do not book a contractor/fitter to assemble your product until you have received your delivery and you are satisfied that it suits your requirements.

Our Status

Please note that for our wooden shed range, we accept orders as agents on behalf of third-party sellers. The resulting legal Contract is between you and that third party seller, and is subject to the terms and conditions of that third party seller, we have listed these terms and conditions in our wooden shed section. You should carefully review these condition’s applying to the transaction before purchase. As all our wooden sheds are made to order once your order is made you can not cancel the order as you will forfeit your deposit. We use a courier service for delivery of some products so at times will have to pass your data to the third party. 

Metal sheds are virtually maintenance free, making them a great time saving option.

Metal shed can have condensation, particularly in more extreme weather. See our guide to condensation here to get the full low down.

The short answer is yes! All our sheds have ventilation to help reduce condensation and our Mammoth range comes with full anti-con liners on the wall and roof to significantly reduce condensation. Keeping white goods like freezers in the shed will also add to condensation. It might be worth considering some simple insulation on the roof, like foil backed insulation boards or foil insulation roll to help elevate moisture forming.
