Base Requirements
This shed, like all our steel sheds, requires a complete, solid and level base. Concrete, paving slabs and hardcore stone all provided suitable bases – providing that they are complete, solid and level. Bases that only account for outer frame of the shed are not suitable, as the inner floor bars need to be supported.
Self Assembly Details
To make self-assembly as simple as possible, we recommend that you will need:
- A clear, calm day*
- At least two, able-bodied people
- A Cordless Screwdriver
- A ladder
- Patience & common sense.
*Do not under any circumstances attempt assembly of this shed in high winds.
People often ask how easy are these sheds to build and the answer is really, ‘it depends’. If you can follow the instructions correctly and if you have the correct tools, they should pose little challenge. We have completed assembly of this shed in 3 hours. However, for people that jump in without the instructions, or people who start modifying parts to ‘make them fit’, it can take over a weekend – or even be an insurmountable task.
If you have patience, plan ahead and follow the instructions, you will be fine.
