This Japanese enginnered heater is no slouch. It’ll heat spaces up to 185 m³ and it will do it while intelligently using fuel. It has lots of safety features and it’s portable too, so it can be moved from location to location when heat is needed.

Usage Features
The Kero4600 Heater has
- A max power of 4.6kw
- Consumption of 0.10 – 0.46 lires/hr
- Heats rooms up to 185 m³
- A built-in ‘whisper-quiet’ fan to circulate heat throughout your room
- An electronic thermostat to monitor room temperature
- Eco Mode: Set your desired temperature with Eco mode and the heater will use the minimal amount of fuel to maintain this temperature.
- A 24-hour programmable clock. Program when you when you want the heater to auto-turn on.
- Digital Temperature Controls
- Low-oil alarm
- Includes a manual pump for refilling
Safety Features
The Inverter is packed with safety features, including:
- A gasification heat shield
- A ‘Cool to touch’ external frame
- A built-in CO alarm (Carbon Monoxide and Carbon Dioxide)
- Anti-topple lock; the unit turns off when it is toppled, or bumped into with considerable force.
- A child-lock to prevent changes to the settings
- A built-in self-diagnoses system; this flags warning numbers to allow you to use the manual to address any issues
- It’s CE approved
- It runs off Paraffin, not Kerosene. Paraffin is distilled kerosene, making it considerably safer to use indoors.

Fuel
As per the manufacturer’s instructions, this heater can only operate on low-odour, C1 grade paraffin. Do not use kerosene in this heater.
Usage
In ideal conditions, a full 7L tank can last up to 70 hours. At maximum heat output (4.6kw), the inverter will run anywhere from 10-15 hours. This heater is designed for indoor use only.
Notes
- This heater has a built-in fan, as such, it is not recommended to be used by those with asthma.
- This heater requires a mains power connection at all times to operate. The heater uses very little electricity, however the mains power is required for the built-in fan to operate correctly.
- Tozane, the recommended paraffin oil to use in this heater, is “virtually odour free”. It does carry a minor odour, however this is generally only noticeable during the start-up phase and when the machine is turned off.
- If you are particularly affected by sharp smells, even in small amounts, this may not be the heater for you.
- As with all heaters, basic safety precautions should be taken.
- e.g. do not point this heater at flammable materials. Do not store the fuel next to this heater, do not use this heater in a non-ventilated area, etc. For more information, read our blogs on heater safety, or contact us directly.
- This heater may release an odour at start up and when turned off. This is due to the way in which the air and fuel are drawn in and out at these times. While in operation, the heater will not release any notable odours.
